An exam with assault: versions of a fight between a teacher and a student at a prestigious metropolitan university. MAI teacher beat a student during an exam: everyone was taken to the emergency room

Right during the exam - allegedly because of an unfair assessment. According to the student, she came to retake the subject “Enterprise Economics” and answered brilliantly. But the teacher was ready to give only “satisfactory”. An excellent student who didn’t need a C in her record book, tried to record the conversation on her mobile phone. But the dialogue ended in assault. The Vesti FM correspondent looked into the details of the scandal. Olga Matveeva.

Instead of getting a grade in the grade book, first-year student Anastasia Balashova received scratches, abrasions and bruises during the exam. The girl claims that she was beaten by teacher Nadezhda Chaika. As evidence, she posted a video of the brawl online. In a small amateur video made in the corridor of the Moscow Aviation Institute, the teacher takes the mobile phone from the girl’s hands and goes into the office.

According to Anastasia Balashova, the relationship between her and Nadezhda Chaika has not worked out since the beginning of the semester. The teacher was constantly nagging, did not want to accept the coursework, and also constantly missed classes without explanation. At the exam, which was the last of the session, Chaika allegedly refused to give Balashova a well-deserved A. And when she came for the retake, she rudely pushed her out the door. The girl told our radio station that her mother and sister were watching everything in the corridor. At that moment, when Anastasia’s relatives were filming what was happening on the phone, a fight broke out.

BALASHOVA: She rushed when she saw that her sister was holding the phone in her hand. She is quite a large person, and she also called the assistant of the department, and so the two of them began to beat, tear out hair, and scratch. This assistant chased me to take my phone. I rushed up all the steps from the 4th floor and hid with the guard at the checkpoint so that he would protect me and asked for help. Today I was told that the security guard was fired. And I can’t even defend myself, we only have these injuries left.

The freshman and her family clearly consider themselves to be the injured party. They filmed the beatings at the emergency room and filed a statement with the police. In the future they plan to contact the prosecutor's office. True, there is another version of the conflict. A witness to the brawl, third-year student Ivan Godunov, claims that the student came to the retake with a fake ticket. And when Nadezhda Chaika refused to accept discipline, a support group - her sister and mother - burst into the audience. In order to somehow equalize the forces, a graduate student came to the teacher’s defense.

GODUNOV: Nadezhda Chaika had abrasions and scratches on her neck, a huge scratch on her arm, she walked around with a napkin. I saw it myself - there was blood flowing there. One graduate student came to defend Nadezhda Chaika. His mother listened to him and then gave him such a good, strong slap in the face. As classmates say, the sound of this clap could be heard throughout the entire corridor. This was personally told to me by 2 classmates who were sitting there, that she changed the ticket and “got hard” with it. I think they are unlikely to lie to me, an ordinary student.

According to the student, all accusations against Chaika are fiction. She is indeed a demanding teacher, but she never put pressure on the students and assessed their knowledge honestly. The dean's office of the Institute of Engineering Economics and Humanities stated that an investigation into the conflict is underway, but the university management has no complaints against Chaika.

UNIVERSITY EMPLOYEE: It was all a set-up, as I understand it. I can’t say anything for sure yet, they’re still looking into it. Yes, everything is fine with the teacher; Emotionally, I can’t say, of course, but my health is fine. There are no severe beatings as such, only scratched hands. She went to the hospital, but so far I haven’t seen her again. The university has no complaints against her. I think she won’t get hurt, we won’t give offense.

Nadezhda Chaika herself has not yet commented on the situation. She hasn't been to the institute since yesterday's incident. Student Anastasia Balashova, for her part, declares that she will no longer be able to study at MAI. By the beginning of the fall semester, the girl plans to transfer to another university.

Keto diet: getting rid of food waste

VASILY GENERALOV: “The ketogenic diet is not only a solution to epilepsy issues. The logic was that the most severe cases, which do not respond to anticonvulsant therapy, we solve with the help of a keto diet and completely remove them from drugs. I had the first such patient 6 years ago, after which we realized that we can also treat simpler cases without pills, without lifelong medication, and we began to introduce this to the general public.”

And all because of a satisfactory rating

Retaking an exam in business economics resulted in Anastasia Balashova, a first-year student at the Moscow Aviation Institute, having to go to the emergency room - she was left with bruises and abrasions by the teacher, who did not want to give a grade higher than “satisfactory.” An excellent student recorded the course of the exam on a dictaphone, so that, if something happened, she would have confirmation that she was right - conflicts with a teacher are not new at the faculty, but assault instead of a signature on the record book is received here for the first time. Anastasia has already contacted the police.

Nadezhda Chaika, a teacher at one of the MAI faculties, has firmly gained a reputation as a “monster” among her students. However, if you know the subject by heart, you can pass the monster - this is what first-year student Anastasia Balashova believed. As it turned out, in vain.

– She has been terrorizing students for a long time: she has been repeatedly discussed on the student forum - her and all her oddities. My sister is an excellent student, she is the best in the course, but on June 13 she took the subject for 4 hours. The teacher chased her around the entire course, although the ticket had specific questions. In the end, she offered to give it a “C”, but this grade goes towards the diploma, and Nastya asked to retake it. In general, this is a normal situation for Chaika: students say that she can give several “C” marks for the entire class, but the rest are unsuccessful. Today she came to retake the exam, but the teacher accepted her with words like “Get out!” The sister recorded this on her phone so that there would be audio confirmation, and when the teacher saw it, she attacked her, trying to take her mobile phone,” the student’s sister Olga told MK.

Her mother and another sister came to morally support the girl (she stood in the doorway and recorded the exam on video). When the teacher noticed them, she, according to Olga, attacked all three women at once.

“She’s a big woman, so it’s not easy to fight her off.” There were bruises and torn hair left. Chaika called her colleague from the department, also a tall man, for help. As a result, my sister managed to hide with the guard downstairs,” Olga continues.

The women called the police and an ambulance. All injuries have already been recorded at the emergency room, and a police report has been prepared. They also plan to contact the prosecutor's office. There has been no reaction from the MAI administration yet - and, perhaps, there will be no need to wait for it: according to the victim, the dean of the faculty himself previously admitted that he could not influence the teacher in any way.

Meanwhile, the reviews that MAI students leave on the forum confirm that Nadezhda Chaika’s character is by no means sugar. However, no one had accused her of assault before.

“He doesn’t know how to teach at all, although he knows the subject perfectly. He just doesn’t know how to express his thoughts so that they reach the students. Starting to say the definition, he stumbles and looks very carefully into the eyes of the students (like, finish it yourself). Feeds on student hatred. Unpunctual, irritable, doesn't care about students. Doesn't allow you to write it off. I failed the entire group at the test. I was 30 minutes late for the retest, and only three people passed after a small dispute about the accuracy of the written information. He's going full blast."

“She constantly insists that knowledge is important to her, but in the exam she proves the opposite... I wrote the test (28 theoretical questions and two problems), I wrote 29 out of 30, but I didn’t solve one of the two problems. Got a "3". In my opinion, she is simply an unsatisfied woman. The grading is unfair. In addition, they did not allow me to retake it. She is completely unfair, and don’t expect her to grade you based on your level of knowledge.”

At the same time, the students admit: she knows her subject (which, however, is not at all a reason for assault).

The MAI public relations service, where MK correspondents turned for clarification, commented on the situation for us. In their opinion, not only the student and her mother were physically harmed, but also the teacher herself:

“On June 19, 2018, an incident occurred between a student and a teacher from one of the university departments who was administering the exam, in which the student’s relatives also participated. The situation is under the control of law enforcement agencies and the university administration. The injured teacher went to the nearest emergency room, where she received medical assistance.”

Moscow, June 19. There were reports in the media that a teacher at the Moscow Aviation Institute beat an excellent student.

The girl is a first-year student at the Faculty of Economics. She only has A’s in her grade book, but the subject “enterprise economics,” taught by Nadezhda Chaika, has become an obstacle to excellent grades, Komsomolskaya Pravda reports. A freshman complained that she was beaten by a teacher.

The student said that she came prepared for the exam and answered the teacher for four hours. The teacher was dissatisfied with the answer and said, according to the girl, that she would not get higher than a C grade. Balashova, realizing that this grade was included in the diploma, asked to retake it. The student received several more attempts, but did not get to the point of passing the exam. So, the student is trying to answer tickets from June 13th.

Anastasia Balashova decided to come to the exam with her mother and sister. The student said that the teacher selected several students, and told others that she would not take the exam and would expel them. The victim's sister decided to film what was happening.

“When the teacher saw this, right in front of everyone she began to pull her hair and take away her phone. Mom, in shock, began to stand up for Olya. She got it too,” said the student.

Afterwards, Anastasia Balashova began filming herself, but the teacher, seeing the phone, asked her assistant to take the gadget away from the student. According to the freshman, the assistant chased her around the institute, and she managed to hide thanks to a security guard.

The freshman and her relatives filed a complaint with the police. The girl declared her readiness to take the exam to any commission, since she knows the subject very well.
